Garlic French Bread

ingredients

  • 1 loaf French Bread -- about 2 feet
  • 2 stick butter
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp garlic -- minced, mashed
  • 1 tbsp creole seasoning with salt -- Zatarain’s, Benoit’s, Tony
  • 1 tbsp Parsley -- chopped, fresh or dried

directions

In saucepan on med., saute the garlic in the oil. When garlic is browned, cut in butter, add seasonings, and parsley. When fully combined, place in fridge to solidify.

Cut loaves in half and slice down the length. Take top off and spread butter mixture on top and bottom. Either bake them rolled up in aluminim foil, or broil them in the top oven rack. I prefer baking. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
