Ye Olde Banana Cake

ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 8 tablespoons canned milk
- 1 cup shortening
- 4 eggs
- 6 mashed bananas
- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
directions

Cream together sugar, milk, shortening, eggs, bananas and vanilla. Blend dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture.

Bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
notes
For a topping you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
