Lemon Spaghetti
ingredients
- 4 ounces whole wheat spaghetti
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 1 oz crumbled bacon
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 tsp ground thyme
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- the juice from 3 lemons
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

Boil the spaghetti.

In a separate pan heat the butter, then add the bacon and onions. Cook for 5 minutes. Add the thyme and pepper (they will start releasing their fragrance into the hot butter), and then, after 10-20 seconds, the lemon juice. Mix with the drained spaghetti and stir in the cheese. The spaghetti should still be hot, so that the cheese can melt.
