Ingredients

  • 3 cups biscuit mix
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2-3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup currants

    Heat oven to 425 degrees.

    Mix biscuit mix and sugar.

  • 3

    Add butter and break into small pieces (with your hands).

    Add currants and mix.

  • 5

    Add milk and stir. (Like you do for biscuits),

    Place on a flowered board and kneed 7 - 8 times.

    Form a log and divide into 3 pieces.

  • 8

    Flatten each piece - higher in the center.

  • 9

    Cut into quarters.

  • 10

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake 10-12 minutes.
