- 5 lbs. flour
- 1 lb. butter
- 3 tbsp. vanilla
- 1 dozen eggs
- 6 cups sugar
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 lb margarine
- 1 tbsp. baking soda
- extra flour for rolling

directions
Cream butter, margarine, and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla beat well. Add salt and baking soda. Add flour 2 cups at a time until too stiff for beaters. Continue mixing by hand until all flour is used. (You may need to transfer to a large bowl to finish the mixing). Roll out, cut, decorate, and bake at 375° for 5-8 minutes.
