Linguine with Shrimp Scampi
ingredients
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 6 Tablespoon butter
- 6 cloves of garlic, slivered
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 3/4 cup parsley
- 3/4 lb. jumbo shrimp
- 1 lb. linguine
- salt and pepper
- Chile oil

Melt butter and oil over med-low heat. Add red pepper flakes and garlic, sauté until garlic just turns golden. Add shrimp, salt and pepper, and cook shrimp through, about 3 minutes per side. Remove from heat and add parsley, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss to combine.

Cook pasta al dente and drain well. Toss with shrimp and return to heat to heat through and allow pasta to absorb flavor.

Drizzle with Chile oil for extra heat.
