Easy Pineapple Nut Cake
ingredients
Cake- 2 Cups all purpose flour
- 2 Cups sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 Cup chopped nuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple with juice (don’t drain)
- 1 8-oz pkg cream cheese, softened
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
- 2 Cups powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 350°.

In large mixing bowl, combine cake ingredients and mix well.

Pour into greased 13x9" cake pan.

Bake about 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Cool, then add icing.

For the icing:

Place cream cheese, vanilla and butter in a bowl.

Gradually beat in powdered sugar with mixer until creamy.

Spread over cooled cake.
