Oriental Chicken

ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts (cut them into thirds)
  • Garlic salt
  • 1 c. cornstarch
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • Vegetable oil
  • Sauce for Oriental Chicken
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. rice vinegar
  • 1/4 c. pineapple juice
  • 3 T. ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp salt

directions

Sprinkle garlic salt on chicken breasts and let set for 30 minutes. Dip chicken in beaten eggs. Dip chicken in cornstarch. Fry in oil unto golden brown. Put in shallow dish and pour sauce over the chicken. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Serve with rice and sauce.
