ingredients

• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1/2 c. butter
• 1 egg
• 1/2 c. milk
• 3 1/2 c. flour
• 2 tsp. soda
• 2 tsp. cream of tarter
• (Sift together soda and cream of tarter)

Filling:

• 2 lemons (grade rinds and juice)
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 tsp. cornstarch
• 2 c. chopped raisins
• 1 c. boiling water
• 1/2 c. chopped pecans
