Ugly, but so good!

ingredients

  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 18.25 oz. box of German chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients to make cake
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 16 oz. box of powdered sugar
  • 1 8 oz pack of cream cheese softened

directions

  • 1

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  • 2

    Grease and flour 13x9 pan. Spread coconut and pecans on the bottom of pan. Mix cake according to directions and pour over coconut and pecans. Mix sugar, butter and cream cheese and spread over cake batter.

    Bake for 45 to 50 minutes. Don’t worry if you get a few cracks on the top of the cake. That is why they call it an Earthquake cake!.
