Steak with shallot wine Sauce
a simple meal
ingredients
- 1 sirloin steak cut 2 inches thick (can use flank or top) (to tenderize, cover with baking soda paste..30 minutes and rinse off)
- 2 T. olive oil
- 2 t. butter
- 1/2 cup shallots
- 1/8 sup heavy cream
- 1 cup dry red wine
- salt and pepper and herbs of province to taste
