Apple Crisp
ingredients
- 4 cups peeled and sliced granny smith apples (about 4 apples)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Place sliced apples in a greased 8x8 baking dish.

Mix remaining ingredients together in a medium bowl and sprinkle over sliced apples.

Bake for 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown and apples are tender. Serve warm by itself or with ice cream.
notes
If you really like the crumbly bits on top, double the crumb topping!
