Linguini and Clam Sauce
Easy and delicious quick dinner
ingredients
- 1 can chopped clams
- 1 can whole clams
- 1 can mushrooms
- 7 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed or diced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- 3 tablespoons dried parsley
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup white wine
directions

1. Heat oil in large pan. Put in garlic, onion, parsley, red pepper flakes, and basil and sauté over medium heat, stirring frequently, for about 3 minutes.

2. Add the wine, mushrooms, and all the clams with their juice (can also add 1/2 cup bottled clam juice, but I never do). Simmer 8-10 minutes.

3. Serve over linguini.
