Date Nut Bread
This is a great bread from an old school cookbook, this recipe is from the Betty Crocker Cookbook (1969)
ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour 1 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup sugar 1 egg
- 3 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 cup finely chopped nuts
- 1 tsp salt 1 cup chopped dates
- 3 TBLS oil
