Pulled Pork Sandwiches
ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1 cup barbecue sauce (Stubb’s is good)
- 1 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons vinegar
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3-4 pounds boneless pork shoulder(or beef can be used)
- Hamburger Buns
directions
Combine all ingredients except roast and buns in slow cooker. When all is mixed well, add roast. Cover. Cook on High for 6-7 hours or Low for 8-12 hours. As you reach end of cooking time, use forks to shred the meat. It may take several times to shred the meat to the correct consistency.
