Apple Crunch
ingredients
- 3 medium size apples
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup melted margarine or butter

Pare and slice apples. Mix with brown sugar in baking pan; set aside.

Mix flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.

Beat egg; mix with flour mixture. Spread over fruit. Pour margarine over top. Bake at 375 degrees for about 45 minutes, until lightly browned. Serve with ice cream if desired.

NOTE: I usually double this recipe and I add a little more cinnamon than called for.
