ingredients

  • 2 onions -cut in half and sliced medium thick
  • Bunch asparagus - cut in 1 inch lengths- about 4 cups when cut
  • 2 tbs chicken stock
  • 2 tbs fresh minced ginger
  • 6 cloves of garlic, pressed
  • 4 chicken breasts cut into inch pieces
  • 4 tbs soy sauce
  • 2 tbs rice or balsamic vinegar
  • 2 pinches red chilli flakes
  • Salt & pepper to taste

    1.Heat the broth in wok and stir fry onion and asparagus for about 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring constantly.

    2.Add ginger, garlic, chicken and continue to stir fry for another 3-4 minutes stirring constantly.

    3.Add soy sauce, vinegar and red chilli flakes. Stir together and cover. Cook for 2 – 3 minutes (possibly longer if asparagus thick) Season with salt and pepper to taste.
