Mom's Lasanga
ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce
- 16 oz ricotta or cottage cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- salt and pepper
- 1 (8 oz) pkg cooked lasagna noodles
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese, sliced or grated

Fry chopped onion in a small amouint of oil. Add ground beef and brown. Drain.

Add spaghetti sauce, heat until warm.

In a mixing bowl, stir together ricotta chieese with parmesan cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Sppon small smount of meat suace into bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.

Arrange half of the cooked noodles over the sauce, then half of the cheese mixture, halfd the mozzarella cheese, and half the meat sauce. Repeat.
