ingredients
- Cookie dough:
- 1/2 c butter
- 1/2 c shortening
- 1 1/2 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 3/4 c flour
- 2 t cream of tartar
- 1 t soda
- pinch salt
- To roll balls:
- 2 T sugar
- 1 t cinnamon

Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix just until blended.

Form dough into tablespoon sized balls and roll into cinnamon sugar mixture. Bake at 400 F for 10 minutes.
