ingredients

  • 2-3 Tablespoons of soy sauce
  • 2-3 Tablespoons dark sesame oil
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • a bit of wasabi - not so much that the marinade is cloudy but enough so you can taste it. Maybe 1/2 to 1 teaspoon
  • Tuna steak should be about 3/4 to 1 inch thick. We got ours in the seafood section of Safeway, prewrapped

    Mix marinade ingredients and coat tuna steak. Cover tightly and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours

  • 2

    Heat non-stick skillet over medium high heat. when it’s hot remove tuna from marinade and sear for one minute on each side; remove from heat and cut open to see if it’s cooked to your liking. if not, replace and sear for an extra 30 seconds on each side. should be good by then.
