Vegetable Soup
ingredients
- 12 lbs Beef
- 2 qts cold Water
- 1 small Onion, quartered
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 cups Tomatoes
- 6 sprigs Parsley
- 1/4 head young Cabbage, chopped
- 1/4 cup Rice or Barley
- 5-6 Carrots, sliced
- 2 cups Green Beans
- 1 cup Potato, diced
- 1/2 cup Celery, chopped
directions
Cook beef. Add beef, onion and salt to cold water. Cook slowly 2 hours. Add vegetables and continue cooking 1 hour.
