ingredients
- Crust:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 4 tbsp sifted powdered sugar
- Filling:
- 2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Dash of salt
- 2 pkg strawberry jello (3 oz.)
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin (dissolved in 1 1/2 tbsp water)
- 3 baskets of strawberries
- Whipped cream

Combine crust ingredients and press into 9x13" pan (grease bottom with butter). Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and cool.

Combine sugar, cornstarch, water, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil just until mix thickens or clarifies. Just before removing from heat, add jello, vanilla, and gelatin. Set aside and cool thoroughly. Slice strawberries and spread evenly on the bottom of cooled crust. Pour filling mix over it and top with whipped cream.
