Spaghetti Meat Sauce
My traditional recipe - goes on everything. I make this huge pot and then freeze the leftovers.
ingredients
- 4-5 lbs of low fat ground beef
- 4-5 onions chopped
- 3 green peppers
- Fresh sliced mushrooms
- 2 Large cans Diced tomatos
- @ 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 1 large can tomato paste
- @ 1 large can tomato puree
- Fresh basil if available
- Salt
- Pepper
- Oregano

Brown ground beef in saute pan, drain fat and place ground beef in large soup pan.

Dice vegetables and cook in saute pan in olive oil until mostly tender then add to ground beef.

Add tomato products to soup pan (you may need to adjust amount of tomatos) and then spices to taste and mix all together. Place on low heat and simmer several hours to blend flavors.
