Orange Marmalade
Since Grandpa was an orange grower, there was always a jar of marmalade in the refrigerator.
ingredients
- 6 oranges
- ] lemon
- 11 cups cold water
- 7 cups sugar
directions
Peel oranges, removing all white skin and slice thin. Slice lemon with rind on. Cover oranges and lemon with cold water. Let stand 24 hours. Then boil 3 hours. Add sugar and boil one hour. Pour into glasses, cool,and cover. Refrigerate until ready to eat.
