Fettuccine Alfredo

One of Tristen’s favorate dinners.mmmm

  • one box whole wheat Fettuccine

  • large pot of boiling water

  • palmfull of salt

  • ½ cup butter or margarine (butters better)

  • 1 cup whipping cream

  • ½ cup parmesan cheese

  • ¼-½ of a block of cream cheese cubed

  • 1 tbsp garlic plus

  • 1 tbsp greek spice

  • 1 - 2 tsp lemon juice

  • approx 4 oz cooked chopped chicken

  • When water is boiling add salt and cook pasta according to insructions on box.

  • In small pot melt butter over med-low heat. Add spices and stir. Add cream and lemon juice.

  • bring to a low simmer. When simmering add both cheeses and stir until melted. Taste sauce and add salt and pepper if needed. Add sauce and cooked chicken to cooked noodles.

  • Serve with extra parmesan and garlic bread. A salad is nice too.
