ingredients

  • 1 8oz package elbow macaroni – approx 2 cups
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tsp onion salt
  • 2 10oz blocks sharp cheddar cheese – shredded about 4 1/2 cups
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted

    Cook macaroni according to package directions and set aside.

    Mix milk, flour, and onion salt well.

  • 3

    Stir together flour mixture, 3 1/2 cups cheese and macaroni.

  • 4

    Pour macaroni mixture into lightly greased 9x13 baking dish.

    Sprinkle evenly with remaining 1 cup cheese. Drizzle with melted butter.

    Bake 45 minutes or until golden brown at 350.
