Sara's Lasagna
My friend Sara Brazelton is an amazing cook and she has given me this recipe that is an ultimate crowd pleaser!
ingredients
- Lasagna noodles
- 16oz ricotta cheese (or you can do 8oz ricotta and 8 oz cream cheese for a tangier flavor)
- 1lb hamburger meat
- 1 jar basic spaghetti sauce
- 3 cups mozzerella cheese
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 3 tbl sp minced garlic
- 4 tbl sp white onion

Cook lasagna noodles (approx. 17 minutes). Brown hamburger meat and drain. In seperate skillet, brown garlic and onion until soft, then add the meat. In a bowl mix sauce, drained diced tomatoes and meat/veggie mix.

In a 9x12 pyrex sprayed with PAM, layer noodles, sauce mixture and ricotta cheese (or cream cheese). Make 2 or 3 layers, cover with Mozzerlla and cover entire pan with tinfoil.

Bake for 45-50 minutes total, the first 30 minutes with the tinfoil and then the last without.
