Chinese Oven-Fried Pork Chops
Grandma served theses to Charlie and Connie. They thought they were so good. The only problem was that there weren’t enough of them.
ingredients
- 1 egg
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. dry sherry or water
- 1/8 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 4 Tbsp. packaged bread crumbs
- 4 lean loin pork chops
directions
Spray pan with Pam. Beat egg, sauce, sherry, ginger, and garlic powder together in a pie plate. Sprinkle bread crumbs on a sheet of waxed paper. Dip chops into egg mixture, then press into breadcrumbs coating evenly on both sides. Arrange in a single layer on pan. Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn and bake for 20 minutes longer or until chops are tender and shows no pink.
