Chinese noodle salad

ingredients

Noodle Salad
  • 1/2 Chinese cabbage-finely shredded
  • 6 Spring onions-chopped
  • 100g lightly roasted slivered almonds
  • 1pkt Chang’s Fried Noodles (original-100g)
  • shredded BBQ chicken or BBQ pork- optional
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup White wine vinegar
  • 1/4 cup castor sugar
  • 1tblsp soy sauce
  • 2tspns sesame oil
  • 1/2 cup olive oil

directions

    Combine all dressing ingredients in saucepan-stir well over low heat

  • 2

    until sugar is dissolved-allow to cool.

    Toss cabbage, spring onions and almonds in a salad bowl. Add dressing

  • 4

    and mix well. Just prior to serving (so they remain crunchy) add noodles

  • 5

    and toss thoroughly.
