Chinese noodle salad
Noodle Salad
½ Chinese cabbage-finely shredded
6 Spring onions-chopped
100g lightly roasted slivered almonds
1pkt Chang’s Fried Noodles (original-100g)
shredded BBQ chicken or BBQ pork- optional
¼ cup White wine vinegar
¼ cup castor sugar
1tblsp soy sauce
2tspns sesame oil
½ cup olive oil
Combine all dressing ingredients in saucepan-stir well over low heat
until sugar is dissolved-allow to cool.
Toss cabbage, spring onions and almonds in a salad bowl. Add dressing
and mix well. Just prior to serving (so they remain crunchy) add noodles
and toss thoroughly.
