Chicken Casserole
Easy chicken recipe - low prep time
ingredients
- 6 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed
- 6 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (or 1 can cream of mushroom and 1 can cream of chicken)
- 2 cups stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Rinse chicken pieces and pat dry. Arrange chicken on greased baking dish. Top with the Swiss cheese. Pour soup over cheese then sprinkle with stuffing mix. Drizzle melted butter over stuffing mix. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours and an additional 1/2 hour uncovered. (or cook on high in crock pot for 4-5 hours)
