  • 1 Cup White Karo Syrup

  • 2 Cups Sugar

  • 1 Cup Raw Spanish Peanuts

  • 1 Tablespoon Butter

  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

  • Cook over moderately high heat until dark golden brown syrup, sugar, and peanuts. Heat cookie sheet in oven during cooking at 250 degrees. Add butter and baking soda. Stir vigorously and pour on HOT cookie sheet to cool.
