Gram's Frozen Corn

It’s like having fresh corn on the cob in the middle of winter. Sugary and salty at the same time.

  • 7 dozen ears of corn.

  • Sugar

  • Salt

  • Water

  • Husk corn and remove kernels from cob.

  • Place 4 quarts of corn in a large pan along with:

  • 1 quart water

  • 1 c. sugar

  • 4 t. salt

  • (this is considered one batch)

  • 7 dozens ears of corn will make 4 batches.

  • Once corn comes to rolling boil, continue to boil for 15 minutes. Cool and place in refrigerator over night.

  • In the morning, place corn in freezer bags or tupperware containers.
