Homemade Orange Cream Popsicles

LindaLinda Garner

I made my own Popsicles for the kids during the summer. You can get creative and make all sorts of flavors without all the preservatives, coloring and sugar. Many of these ideas were found in Vicki Lansky’s books.

ingredients

  • 1 large container plain yogurt
  • 1 6 oz concentrated unsweetened orange juice
  • Optional: dash of vanilla extract, honey, small amount of Stevia for sweetness, or Xylitol an all natural sweetener.

directions

Mix well and freeze in molds or 3 oz paper cups. For handles insert wooden sticks or spoons when mixture is partially frozen. (it is easy to forget the “partially frozen” part so set a timer)

notes

Experiment with different variations of flavors.
