Chicken Chili Verde
This chili is very easy to make and has a nice mexican flair. Top it with sour cream, cheese, and a crushed tortilla chips.
ingredients
- 1 1/2 quart chicken broth
- 1 can (8 oz) diced fire roasted green chiles
- 1 can (8 oz) medium green salsa
- 1 bunch of cilantro, chopped
- 1 pound of white beans (soaked over night and drained)
- 1 diced yellow bell pepper
- 1 diced sweet onion
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons cumin
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1 tablespoon oregano
directions
In a large crockpot, combine all the ingredients and set to cook for 4 hours on high. Once cooked, shred the chicken breasts.
