Spiced Filbert Nut Meats

ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 5 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups filbert nut meats
- Few grains salt
directions

Combine sugar, water, cinnamon and vanilla and bring to boil. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from fire, add nut meats, stir until syrup looks cloudy.

Put on waxed paper or greased surface, breaking apart into clusters or individually.
