Madeline's Thanksgiving Stuffing- Pork Stuffing
French Style Pork Stuffing for Thankgiving Turkey!
ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground pork
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 full size package Pepperidge Farm Stuffing Mix
- 2 Eggs
- 1/2 Stick Butter
- 1 Medium Chopped Onions
- 2-3 Stalks Chopped Celery
- 1/2 tsp Bell’s Seasoning
- 1 tsp. Celery Salt
- 1 tsp. or more to taste of Allspice
- Approx. 1 cup water, enough to moisten stuffing mix

Saute the onion and celery in a small amount of butter until onion is clear. Layer the stuffing mix in a baking dish and add seasoning. Chop butter and drop onto stuffing mix. Pour enough hot water onto mix to melt butter and thoroughly moisten the bread mix. Add beaten eggs and mix together. Add mixture of ground beef, and ground pork and mix well with the stuffing mixture. Add in onions and celery.

If you are stuffing turkey, you must partially cook the stuffing/meat mixture and then stuff turkey to cook remaining time.

No Turkey: bake in covered pan @ approx. 350 for about an hour, remove cover and brown the top.
