Hungarian Potatoes

  • 6 C sliced potatoes

  • 1 medium chopped onion

  • 2 quartered tomatoes

  • 2 chicken bouillon cubes

  • 2 C boiling water

  • Mix together:

  • 1 heaping T flour

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp pepper

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray 9“x13” baking dish with cooking spray.

  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in boiling water. Cover bottom of pan with onions. Add layer of potatoes and tomatoes. Sprinkle with half the flour mixture. Repeat.

  • Pour bouillon over potatoes and dot with butter. Bake covered for 30 min. Bake uncovered for 2 hours, pressing down occasionally with spatula.
