ingredients

  • 1 head chopped cabbage
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 C sesame seeds
  • 1/2 C slivered or sliced almonds
  • 4 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pkgs. crushed Ramen noodles without seasoning packets
  • Dressing:
  • 1 C light olive oil
  • 1/2 C rice vinegar
  • 1/2 C sugar or 1/3 C Splenda
  • salt and ground pepper to taste

    In skillet, melt margarine. Add noodles, sesame seeds and almonds and brown, stirring constantly. Cool.

    When cool, add to chopped cabbage and onions.

  • 3

    Make dressing, but do not add to cabbage until 1/2 hour before serving.
