Make Ahead Butterhorn Rolls
Wonderful never fail recipe given to me by Christine Williams
ingredients
- 2 packages yeast
- 1/2 cup slightly warm water
- 9 cups flour
- 2 cups warm milk
- 1 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 eggs
- 2 teas. salt
directions

Dissolve yeast in water. Set aside. Put milk, shortening and sugar all together and warm slightly until butter is softened. Pour into bowl. Put in 4 cups of the flour and mix. Add eggs, yeast mixture and then rest of the flour. Put in oiled bowl and let rise until doubled.

Freeze and let rise about 5 hours before baking.
