Pecan Chocolate Souffle
ingredients
- 5 egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/8 cup pecans, chopped
directions
Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Fold in sugar, chocolate, and pecans. Pour into well-greased 2-quart double boiler and cook over hot water for 45 minutes or until firm in center. Turn out onto a warm serving plate and serve immediately, with whipped cream.
