Sharon's Chinese Chicken Salad
This salad is a frequent request at the Henze home.
ingredients
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1/3 cup seasame seeds
- 1 Tbs. butter
- 4 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
- 1/2 head sliced cabbage
- 1 bunch of chopped green onions
- handful of partially cooked snow peas
- 1 pkg. of Top Ramen noodles
- Dressing: Combine ingredients.
- 3 Tbs. peanut butter
- 4 Tbs. soy sauce
- 4 Tbs. sugar
- 4 Tbs. white wine vinegar (or white vinegar)
- 2 Tbs. oil
- 1 tsp. sesame seed oil
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 2 Tbs. minced cilantro

Toast almonds, sesame seeds in butter in a 350 degree oven for about 10 min. Watch carefully so they don’t burn.

Combine cooked chicken, cabbage, onions and snow peas in large bowl. Crunch up noodles and add with almonds, sesame seeds, and salad dressing.
