Chicken and Ravioli Cacciatore
ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
- 1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2 to 1 inch pieces
- 1 medium onion, halved, sliced
- 1/2 medium green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup water
- 1 (14.5-oz.) can diced tomatoes with garlic, oregano and basil, undrained
- 1 (8-oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (9-oz.) package refrigerated cheese-filled ravioli

Heat oil until hot in large skillet.

Add chicken, onion and peppeer, cook and stir until chicken is browned.

Stir in water, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil. Add ravioli, covering it with tomato mixture.

If necessary, carefully separate ravioli.

Cook 12 to 15 minutes or until sauce is of desired consistency and chicken is no longer pink. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.

Make sure ravioli is covered with liquid to completely cook.
