Mexican Wedding Cakes
ingredients
- 1 C butter
- 4 T sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 C flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 - 1 C finely chopped pecans
- Bowl of sifted powdered sugar

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Melt together the butter, sugar and vanilla, then cool.

Mix the flour and salt and sift into the butter mixture. Add nuts.

Roll dough into little cakes or balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake until light golden brown.

Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.

Store in tight container.
