ingredients

  • 3 cups pecan halves
  • 2 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt

directions

Beat egg whites and water until stiff; fold nuts in carefully. Mix sugar, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt in large bowl. Add coated nuts to sugar mixture, folding in carefully. Spread onto sprayed cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes, Turn and bake 15 more minutes. With wide spatula remove to wax paper, separating slightly Cool and store in airtight container (will last for weeks).
