Orange Rolls
ingredients
- 2 12oz. cans of biscuits (Rachel used Publix brand Southern Style Hearty Layers biscuits)(her friend used Pillsbury Buttery Biscuits, 10 biscuits each can).
- 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 cup. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 2 tsp, orange zest
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 c. sifted lOX sugar
- 2 Tblsp. orange juice

Combine sugar, pecans & zest. Separate biscuits & press flat into ovals. Cut cream

cheese into 20 blocks. Place one on each biscuit. Fold in half& seal edges. Dip each one

in butter, then in sugar mixture. Place on greased baking sheet or Bundt pan (for coffee
- 4
cake). May be frozen at this point to bake later.

Bake at 350 deg. for 25-30 minutes for rolls, 30-45 minutes for cake until golden brown.

If making cake, invert on plate. Make icing by mixing powdered sugar & orange juice.

Drizzle over rolls or cake. Serve warm.
