Snickerdoodles
ingredients
- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 T. sugar
- 3 tsp cinnamon
directions
Cream together Crisco, butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Sift together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt; stir into creamed mixture. Shape into balls the size of small walnuts. Mix the sugar and cinnamon together and roll balls in mixture. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake at 400° for 10-12 minutes.
