Sausage & Wild Rice Casserole

Favorite Thanksgiving recipe from Lorraine Otani

  • Cook rice until tender but not mushy. Drain.

  • Cook sausage until crumbly. Pour off fat.

  • Stir in drained mushrooms and soup. Add to rice.

  • Put layer of rice mixture in buttered casserole. Top with thinly slice onions.

  • Put in remainder of rice mixture. Cover casserole.

  • Bake at 350-degrees for 60 minutes. Serves 4

  • Note:

  • May be put together one day ahead.

  • Definitely double the recipe because it’s a great leftover!
