Whisky BBQ Hot Dogs

Little hotdogs and smokies simmer in this aromatic BBQ sauce for a sure hit at any cocktail party.

  • 2 pkg. Mini Hot Dogs or Lil’ Smokies

  • 1 c. Ketchup

  • ½ c. BBQ Sauce

  • ¼ c. Brown Sugar

  • ½ c. Whiskey

  • 2 Tbsp. Butter

  • Melt the butter in a saute pan over high heat. Add the hot dogs and cook until browned.

  • Add ketchup, BBQ sauce and brown sugar and mix well.

  • Add whiskey, reduce heat to low and simmer until sauce thickens.

  • Serve with toothpicks in a heated dish or crockpot to keep warm.
