Nana Norman's Nut Bread

Nana would make this bread to give to friends and neighbors at Christmas. Aunt Barbara also submitted this recipe and noted that “as I wrote down these recipes memories of my dear mother and Nana Mac come flooding back -- How blessed we were!”

  • Combine all ingredients, fill greased loaf pans. Let sit on top of stove for 20 minutes. Bake at 325-350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Test to see if done. Fills 1 big loaf pan, or two small loaf pans.
