Cuban Burgers
This recipe is inspired by Bobby Flay’s Pressed Cuban Burger. Ham, swiss, pickles and garlicky Cuban sauce are a great combo!
ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef, divided into 6 burger patties
- 6 slices swiss cheese
- 12 thin slices of ham
- Thinly sliced kosher dill pickles
- 6 rolls
- 1/2 c. mayo
- 1 tbsp. minced garlic (plain or roasted)
- 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard

Cuban Sauce: whisk the mayo, garlic and mustard together and set aside

Cook the burgers to your liking.

Spread the Cuban sauce on both sides of a roll. Place burger on the roll. Top with ham, pickles and swiss. Put the whole thing in a heated panini press until the bun is crisp and browned and the cheese is melted.

Serve with Tracy’s Mojitos and Fay’s Puerto Rican Pasta Salad or Dill Potato Salad for the perfect summer meal.
